The Field Lunch Program
At Field, one family in the community contributes lunch for about half of our students on one day of the school year. For information about your contribution to the program, contact
Jean Gwaltney
in the main office. Field offers families advice about how to prepare or order a healthy lunch for our kids.
Students may bring their own lunch, of course, but if they purchase a Field lunch for $3.00, every penny is contributed to our scholarship fund.
We don't have a cafeteria. (Why? Well, do you have any positive memories of the cafeteria at your old high school?). Students eat lunch almost wherever they please on campus: outdoors; in the The Hub, Living Room, or Dining Room; in classrooms or other common spaces. We ask only: clean up after yourselves, folks!
