Community Health Update | January 19

No one tested positive for Covid-19 for the third time in a row, and our students will return to school this upcoming Monday, January 25, 2021.
Dear Field families:

As you know, this past Saturday we conducted baseline testing for all students and employees in preparation for our return to hybrid learning next week.  The 359 tests concluded no positive results of Covid-19. These continued Covid-free reports are undoubtedly due to the tremendous and careful efforts of each and every member of our community.

Any student who did not get tested on campus is being contacted directly by Carrie Johnson, Field’s Covid-19 Response Director, to determine their eligibility to return to campus. (Of course, students in our virtual-only program are exempt.) Proof of negative PCR results dated January 16 or later are required in order to come to campus. We will accept only PCR or NAAT molecular/nucleic acid amplification tests. We will NOT accept (less accurate and typically rapid) antigen tests.

If a special circumstance does not allow a student to be present for school-hosted testing we ask that you inform Carrie in advance at so we are aware of the reason and can coordinate getting your test results. This is an important step in tracking the health of our community.
