Get to know our Language Department Chair and Spanish Teacher, Karin Davidovich. She started at Field in 2020 but she says it feels like she has always been here.

What is your favorite book or podcast?
Ficciones by Jorge Luis Borges

What is something that people at The Field School might not know about you?
I was in an independent movie that made it to the Sundance Film Festival.

What hobbies do you have outside of The Field School?
Skiing, traveling, working out, watching movies.

What was the first concert you ever attended?
Argentine rock band from the 90s (Soda Stereo)

Who inspires you and why?
The strong women in my family who made everything happen.

If you could share one piece of advice with your younger self, what would it be?
Be kind to yourself.

What do you love most about working at The Field School?
I love the creativity, originality, wit and generosity of our students, and of my colleagues. It makes me happy to be in the classroom, and to hear my students communicate in Spanish, and to hear them speak Spanish or French with other teachers outside of the classroom.
