Columbia and Baltimore, MD

What is something that people at The Field School might not know about you?
The best New Year's Eve of my life was spent with friends on a boat, sailing around the Exumas.
What hobbies do you have outside of The Field School?
I love to travel, exploring as many new places as possible. When I'm in a new city, as DC is for me, I'm particularly eager to investigate the restaurant scene and museums.
What was the first concert you ever attended?
It was either Wyclef Jean or Ghostface Killah in 2007.
If you could share one piece of advice with your younger self, what would it be?
The only thing that defines a "writer" is that they write! It doesn't have to be complete, it doesn't have to be good... it just needs to be. In time, something worthwhile will come!
What do you love most about working at The Field School?
Obviously the students! Shoutout to my E11 students and my Sophomore Advisory! But on a professional level, I'm thrilled to have the creative freedom to craft special, engaging units, whether it's my "Exploring the Afterlife" elective or studying “The American Nightmare” in our upcoming Dystopia unit for Juniors.
