Get to know 2D Art Teacher, Jenni Helm. Jenni is one of the newer teachers at Field but she is already making an impact! She’s leading a project with students to create a mural commemorating Field at 50. Jenni has lived in eight different states but she grew up in Tennessee and Maryland (and graduated from the University of Maryland). I have lived in eight different states.

What hobbies do you have outside of The Field School?
Painting, going to concerts, traveling, cooking

What was the first concert you ever attended?
Van Halen

Who inspires you and why?
I'm inspired by artists and musicians who are committed to their vision and craft.

If you could share one piece of advice with your younger self, what would it be?
Be brave and trust your instincts.

What do you love most about working at The Field School?
The student body! I love the compassion and creativity I see on a daily basis.
