Admission

Application Process

We’re glad you’re exploring The Field School! Whether you are a prospective student or parent, we look forward to working with you through the application process! Field students thrive because we see them as individuals. Small classes allow every student to be heard, involved, and challenged. We hope as you learn about Field, you will see yourself or your student in our mission - Self-Discovery, Skills of Mind, and Generosity of Heart.

We encourage you to attend one of our virtual admission webinars, get to know our faculty and our students, and have an interview with one of our admission team members.  Below are the steps to complete an application. Field’s application is exclusively through this website. For any questions, please contact us - admissions@fieldschool.org, or 202-295-5824.

The deadline for applications for the 2021-22 school year is January 15, 2021.

Applications received after that deadline will be processed in a second round, beginning in mid-March or early April, depending on spaces available at that time. Please note: Current year grade reports and/or transcripts must be sent directly from the school. Previous year grade reports or transcripts may be sent from the school or uploaded by the parent.
