Meet Eli! Eli has been at Field since 6th grade, and now he’s heading to the University of Pennsylvania, where he will major in Urban Studies. Eli is currently involved in the City Planning Club at Field. He says he chose Field because it was the place where he felt he could be himself. Keep reading to discover his favorite memory during his time here. 

 

What major or subject area are you planning to pursue in college?

Urban Studies

What grade level did you enter Field?

6th

Why did you choose to attend The Field School?

It was the place where I could most be myself and also learn in a constructive and supportive environment.

What has been your favorite class at Field?

8th grade History because it jump started my love for modern cultural history and also offered me my first independent opportunity to pursue knowledge in the form of a research paper.

What sports/clubs did you take part in at Field?

  • City Planning Club
  • Model UN

What has been your favorite memory at Field?

Donut days every Thursday and cookouts with the Barbecue Club in middle school.

What will you miss most about Field?

The enthusiastic teachers who encourage learning and strive to understand each student's interests and unique personalities.

What advice would you give future Field seniors?

Savor the time you have left in high school because it goes by a lot faster than you may think.

How did Field prepare you for your next chapter?

Field helped me to find my niche interests and become a leader in many capacities. In college, I will continue on my path with urban planning and being a leader in the clubs they offer.
