Even though our seniors graduated on Sunday — we’re continuing to celebrate them! Meet Ben. Ben was a standout leader in our community, earning the highest award at Field. The Agros Award honors a senior who embodies the ideals of The Field School’s mission. Ben came to Field in 9th grade, and now he’s heading to Tulane University in the fall. During his time at Field, Ben was involved in a number of things, including athletics, Black Student Union, and Student Government Association. Why did you choose to attend The Field School?
In all honesty, it was just because my dad and brother both went to Field and thought it would be good for me, but looking back, I wouldn't change a thing!
What has been your favorite class at Field?
My 10th grade history class because of Aaron Bachman's energy, humor, and passion for teaching.
What sports/clubs did you take part in at Field?
What is your favorite memory from your time at Field?
Playing basketball during lunch with my friends.
What will you miss most about Field?
The passion that the teachers have for their jobs.
What advice would you give future Field seniors?
Goof off whenever you can and create as many memories as possible.
How did Field prepare you for your next chapter?
Coming into Field after Covid and two years of social isolation, I was worried about life remaining that way. Field brought out my extroverted self and made me into the person that I was meant to be.
