Q. What was appealing about this internship?
“I liked the idea of contributing to a project through research while also learning about touring and production.”
Q. Describe your typical responsibilities each day.
“I did research based on what I was assigned. For example, I was tasked with finding the most efficient bus route to do the walkthrough of the show based on time and limiting the amount of long rides (2 to 3 hours).”
Q. What was your favorite moment or biggest accomplishment?
“I enjoyed doing hotel research for tours because I ended up contributing a lot to scheduling and how the tour will run in June and July.”
Q. What is the most important thing you learned during this experience?
“I learned about how important research and the little details are for producing and running a tour. For example, food costs can be expensive to the vendor, so finding a hotel with cheap or free breakfast is crucial.”
Q. What surprised you most about this experience?
“I was surprised by how welcomed I was and just how respectful everyone was to me during this experience.”
Q. How has this internship influenced your future plans or interests?
“I'm not sure just yet, but I have been very interested in the work, and I hope to work again on this at some point in the future.”
